May Progress at the GND REC

All drawings and technical specifications have been completed for the GND Recreation Area.  The outdoor work involving major earth-moving activities is being bid.  Five construction companies attended the pre-bid meeting.  Bids are due on 11 June 2015 with City Council review and approval 15 June.  Construction will start as soon as possible after City Council approval.  This work is to be financed by the $500,000 matching grant from the City of Duluth based on the ½ & ½ tax financing focusing on the St. Louis River Corridor development.
