When communities work together, amazing things can happen. Let’s make something amazing happen in Gary New Duluth for all of us; children through seniors.

We continue to work with the City and strengthen our relationship to ensure success of THE GND REC. On December 31st, 2014, the City of Duluth officially became a partner on this project. Jim Filby Williams, City of Duluth, stated: “The City of Duluth is a proud partner with the GND Development Alliance and the GND community to bring this important and exciting project to fruition.”

Work in the building has commenced with demolition work conducted in the restrooms and concession stand.  The restrooms will be brought up to standards required by the Americans With Disabilities Act.

A plumbing permit has been secured and the rough in plumbing is nearly complete.  Thank you Bill Glowaki! The Goodin Company is providing rough in materials for the plumbing work.  Thank you for your support!

A group of volunteers worked together to take down most of the baseball field fencing.  As we prepare for the construction season, reshaping the landscape to facilitate drainage will be our first priority.
