The GND Rec is happy to announce its partnership with the Duluth Area Family YMCA! The GND Rec is the perfect place for YMCA to extend its services and infuse its mission of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. This partnership will also allow the GND Rec to continue to live out its mission of creating social, cultural, learning and recreational activities for area residents.

The YMCA began working with the GND Rec on August 1, 2016 and the first step was to continue the summer youth drop-in program aimed at helping youth in the community avoid the summer learning gap that happens so often.  The Y is currently working with the community to identify program needs and to get things in motion. Some of the programs that will be offered out of the GND Rec are:

•  Birthday Parties
•  Parent/Tot time
•  Diabetes Prevention Program
•  Active Older Adult Classes
•  Drop-in After School Program
